If you unlock your phone with FaceID, it automatically authorizes the 2FAS app to open without the need for another unlock. When FaceID actually happens, it may be unnoticeable because it happens very fast.
As for phones with Android, the FaceID option is disabled in the 2FAS app due to an unsafe and ununified FaceID solution.
